Erin brings a genuinely rare combination to her practice. As both a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Counsellor, she is equipped to work with clients on both the emotional and behavioural dimensions of their relationship with food, something very few practitioners can offer.

With over ten years of experience supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns, Erin is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and a weight-neutral practitioner. Her work is never about the number on a scale. It's about building genuine body trust and lasting self-worth.

Erin also works with parents and caregivers navigating a loved one's recovery. Her approach is always collaborative, non-judgmental and affirming.

How Erin Works

Intuitive Eating and Weight-Neutral Care

Erin is a trained Intuitive Eating Counsellor who approaches all her work from a weight-neutral stance. She helps clients learn to trust their bodies, reconnect with hunger and fullness cues, and find freedom from the exhausting cycle of food rules and body dissatisfaction.

Emotion-Focused Approaches

Erin draws on Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Emotion-Focused Skills Training (EFST) to help clients and families understand the emotional drivers behind disordered eating, and to build capacity for recovery.

Mindfulness-Based and DBT Skills

Erin integrates mindfulness-based therapy and elements of DBT to help clients build distress tolerance, regulate difficult emotions, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves and their bodies.

Inclusive and Affirming Practice

Erin prioritizes culturally sensitive, gender-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming care. She understands that bodies, identities and lived experiences are deeply interconnected, and every client deserves to feel genuinely welcomed exactly as they are.
