Her approach is integrative and collaborative, grounded in curiosity and guided by evidence-based practice. McKenzie's role is to support clients in uncovering their own strengths and navigating the complexities of their experiences. She works with clients 16 years and older.

"My role as a therapist is to support you in uncovering your strengths and navigating the complexities of your experiences."

How McKenzie Works

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a cornerstone of McKenzie's practice, helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns to shift emotional responses and behaviour toward what actually serves them.

DBT and ERP

McKenzie integrates Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and distress tolerance, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, both practical, evidence-based tools that build real, lasting skills.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed

Drawing on an IFS-informed approach, McKenzie helps clients explore the different 'parts' of themselves with curiosity and compassion, understanding internal conflicts rather than judging them.

Solution-Focused and Integrative

McKenzie combines approaches flexibly to create a personalized experience for each client, focusing on what resonates most and empowering the journey toward healing and self-discovery.
